Position Summary
The Chief Marketing and Admissions Officer will be responsible for leading Globeducate’s marketing, branding, and admissions strategy to support enrollment growth and enhance the organisation's reputation. This strategic leadership role requires a visionary marketer and communicator who can align the organisation’s mission with dynamic market demands and parent expectations. The CMO will work closely with school leadership teams, admissions offices, and the executive team to implement data-driven strategies that position Globeducate as a top choice for international education.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing and Branding
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and branding strategy that promotes Globeducate’s values, educational approach, and unique offerings across global markets.
- Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging and high visibility across all digital, print, and event channels.
- Lead global campaigns and initiatives to increase brand awareness and differentiate Globeducate within the competitive landscape of international education.
2. Admissions and Enrolment
- Develop and implement strategies to drive student enrolment across Globeducate schools, focusing on target markets and aligning with growth objectives.
- Collaborate with admissions teams across schools to optimise the admissions process, improve lead conversion, and ensure a seamless experience for prospective families.
- Monitor enrolment metrics, market trends, and customer insights to proactively address enrolment challenges and opportunities.
3. Digital Marketing and Content Strategy
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and website management, to attract and engage prospective families.
- Create and oversee content strategy that highlights success stories, key educational programs, events, and partnerships, showcasing Globeducate’s commitment to excellence.
- Track and analyse digital marketing performance, ensuring ROI on all initiatives and adapting strategies based on data.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with school leaders and marketing and admissions directors to support school-specific marketing and recruitment efforts, ensuring alignment with Globeducate’s overall strategy.
- Maintain regular communication with regional and global teams, sharing insights, successes, and best practices across the organization.
- Serve as a key point of contact for parent communication, crisis management, and PR initiatives to uphold and enhance the organization’s reputation.
5. Team Leadership and Development
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing marketing and admissions team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
- Provide training, support, and development opportunities for school admissions and marketing staff to improve skills and ensure consistent execution across all locations.
- Oversee budget management for marketing and admissions, ensuring efficient allocation of resources aligned with strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (MBA or Master’s in Marketing preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 20 years of experience in marketing and admissions, in the K-12 education sector.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing and branding strategies.
- Strong understanding of the admissions process within the private or international school sector.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across various levels.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, CRM software (Hubspot is a plus), and a strong data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment and travel as needed.
