Early Years Teaching Assistant – Level 2 or higher
Start date: Tuesday 22nd April 2025
Hours: 7:45am-4pm -Term time only (34 weeks)
Salary: £14,766-£18,030 depending on experience (FTE: £22,582-£27,573)
Closing date: Friday 21st February with interviews to be held week commencing 3rd March
The Pre-School teaching assistant will work within the fantastic Early Years Department, under the direction of the Head of Early Years.
The key responsibility of the practitioner will be to work successfully as part of a dedicated team, to provide a high standard of emotional, social and intellectual care for all children at Little Acorns Pre-School, whilst ensuring their safety and wellbeing, at all times.
The candidate should be kind, caring and motivated, committed to the role within the department. They should be prepared to work in all weather conditions, within our garden, mud kitchen, extensive grounds and woodland environments, actively participating to enrich the children’s outdoor learning experiences – which is a vital part of our curriculum.
