We are looking for an enthusiastic Physics Teacher for our Secondary School from September.
Promote the ‘mission’ and philosophy of the school
- Ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting are of the highest quality and meet the varying learning and social needs of students
- Be flexible and adjust to the needs of the school, actively contributing to the school development plans and growth.
- Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach, and assess effectively.
- Be able to teach Physics to Secondary aged students
- Use the student tracking and monitoring process to advance student learning and enhance professional practice in line with the school’s aspirations and priorities.
- Take personal responsibility for professional development.
- Effectively communicate the school’s narrative, being an ambassador for our school at all times

- Teaching Physics up to IGCSE level and up to IB higher level.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS
Qualification/ Training:
- Teaching Qualification QTS/PGCE Teaching Qualification QTS/PGCE
- Bachelor's degree in Physics Bachelor's degree in Physics
- Proven track record with at least two years’ teaching experience of Physics
- Proven track record with at least two years’ teaching experience of Physics
- Experience of teaching A Level or IB Physics (preferred)
- Good classroom practice and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrable evidence of innovating and adapting curriculum to engage children and enable them to reach their potential
- Working in partnership with parents
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to teach different age ranges and English proficiency levels
- Ability to engage children and enable them to perform to high expectations
- Use of iSAMS Desirable (but will be taught to successful candidate)
- Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development Desirable
- Confident global citizen or a willingness to become one Desirable
