We are seeking to recruit a full-time Class Teacher to join our growing team at The International School of Paphos.

Requirements
- Inspire and challenge pupils to unlock their full potential
- Have a positive approach to promote learning and excellent behaviour
- Create a lively, communicative atmosphere in class conducive to teaching and learning
- Effectively plan and deliver lessons, maintain up-to-date records and forward plans for inspections to the Head Teacher
- Oversee pupils’ academic and social development, according to age, ability and aptitude
- Encourage diligence, organisation, responsibility, self-reliance, cooperation, teamwork, honesty, understanding, and tolerance in pupil
- Tactfully deal with behavioural issues in accordance with the school’s policy
- Adhere to all school policies, procedures and practices, such as health and safety, equal opportunities, safeguarding, and data protection
- Communicate with parents and management, regarding educational, social or behavioural issues
- Promote the school in a positive light to the wider community
- Maintain and improve personal teaching standards, share ideas with colleagues and stay informed about educational developments
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the management of the school
Minimum qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Primary Education
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Education OR Postgraduate Degree in Primary Education OR Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) OR Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
