Reporting to the CEO, UK & Cyprus and dotted line to the Global Chief Marketing Officer, the Admissions and Marketing Manager UK will lead the strategic development and operational execution of admissions and marketing across Globeducate’s UK schools. This role is pivotal in driving enrolment growth, enhancing brand visibility, and ensuring alignment with Globeducate’s global standards and local market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement regional marketing and admissions strategies aligned with Globeducate’s Long Range Plan (LRP) and Value Creation Plan (VCP).
- Collaborate with the CMO and CEO to set annual objectives and KPIs for each school, ensuring alignment with student enrolment targets.
- Lead regional initiatives to improve conversion rates across the admissions pipeline (enquiry, visit, application, acceptance, enrolment, start).
Team Management & Development
- Oversee and support school-level Marketing and Admissions Managers, ensuring consistent performance and professional development.
- Facilitate best practice sharing across UK schools and contribute to global MAD team sessions.
- Coordinate with external recruiters and agencies for strategic hires and campaign execution.
Marketing Operations
- Work in collaboration with Schools Marketing and Admissions team to define and implement marketing strategy for each school within the Globeducate UK cluster.
- Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all communications, digital platforms, and events.
- Lead regional PR, media, and digital campaigns, including organic and paid lead generation (Google, Meta).
- Oversee website and social media content, ensuring relevance and alignment with SEO and nurturing strategies via Hubspot.
Admissions Excellence
- Ensure admissions processes adhere to group policies and local regulations.
- Monitor and report weekly KPIs, including enquiries, visits, starters, and re-enrolments.
- Champion a “best in class” admissions experience, with a strong focus on conversion and parent engagement.
Data & CRM
- Manage regional CRM strategy and data integrity, working closely with the Global Digital & CRM Project Manager.
- Support risk assessments and compliance reviews related to admissions and CRM processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the regional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including school heads, marketing agencies, and parent communities.
- Represent the UK region in global MAD forums and contribute to strategic planning and reporting.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Proven leadership experience in admissions and marketing within the education sector (+4 years experience).
- Strong understanding of UK independent school market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, team leadership, and campaign execution.
- Experience with CRM systems (preferably Hubspot), digital marketing, and data analytics.
