About the Role
ICS Milan is seeking a proactive, approachable and service-oriented IT Support Technician to join our school-based IT team.
This is a full-time, on-site position focused primarily on supporting teaching staff and classroom technology. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for technical issues and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of our international school environment.
This role requires daily interaction in English. A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line, on-site IT support to teaching and administrative staff
- Respond promptly and professionally to technical issues
- Support classroom technology, including interactive displays, projectors and teacher devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network-related issues
- Install, configure and maintain Windows-based workstations
- Provide basic support for Apple devices (Mac and iPad)
- Coordinate with external IT providers when necessary
- Contribute to maintaining a stable and efficient IT environment
Profile
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has previous experience in IT support or technical assistance roles
- Is comfortable interacting daily with teachers and non-technical users
- Demonstrates patience, approachability and a calm attitude under pressure
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is confident entering classrooms and providing support during lessons
- Has solid knowledge of Windows environments (Microsoft 365, Active Directory)
- Has basic understanding of networking (LAN, WiFi)
- Has a high level of spoken and written English (essential requirement)
- Works well in a team and maintains a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Experience in an educational or international environment is an advantage but not essential.
