Nobel Algarve is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled School Administrator to join our fantastic team.
REQUIREMENTS:
• University Degree in economics, finance, or master’s degree in finance/ audit
• A proven track record in accounting and personnel management.
• 5 years+ of financial experience
• Proficient level of English and Portuguese
• Experience in ERP finance systems
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the accountability: monitoring accounts, incomes, expenses. Detailed review of the billing of all services: tuition, canteen, bus, travels, extracurricular activities.
• Ensure that financial accounting policies and procedures are properly implemented.
• Adequate finance controls and records are maintained.
• Budget: Preparation, review, and control (including forecasting)
• Support the Head of the School in exploring potential new income streams aligned with the school Vision.
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial management information.
• Manage Monthly Close and Statutory Reporting, ensuring that all information is recorded accurately in the appropriate systems.
• Personnel management: joiners, leavers, changes, temporary replacements, variable payments. Both from cost and legal perspective.
• Accomplishment of LPDG and work hazards
• General Services: Organization, control and monitoring of all maintenance and investment actions carried out in the centre.
• Control and monitoring of safety and hygiene: Review of all legal needs, incidents, inspections, update books of the Ministry of Health. Accomplished of the current legislation, regarding the building and sports centre
• Suppliers: Relationship, analysis of budgets, purchase and contracting with all the suppliers of the centre. All expenses invoices must be reviewed and approved by the Administrator and request approval through the Synergy program.
• Clients: Control, analysis and claim of bad debt. Meetings with the families
