Students aged three to 18 attend the school and follow the National English Early Years Framework and the English National Curriculum. Year 12 and 13 students take A-levels and gain accreditation for the Spanish Baccalaureate and can also choose to follow a Higher National Diploma (HND) route, providing vocational pathways.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Guitar Teacher to join our extracurricular courses.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop guitar lessons and teaching materials tailored to the students’ skill levels.
- Deliver engaging and interactive classes, encouraging active participation and creativity.
- Assess students’ progress through practical exercises, performances, and ongoing observation.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and the individual needs of each student or group.
- Create an inclusive and motivating environment that supports confidence and enjoyment in learning the guitar.
- Maintain regular communication with the extracurricular coordinator regarding students’ progress, achievements, and any specific needs.
- Manage and care for all musical instruments and teaching materials, ensuring their appropriate use and maintenance.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Training in music education, pedagogy, or a related field is desirable.
- Languages: B2 level of English.
- Experience: A minimum of one year’s experience as a guitar teacher or in music instruction.
