We are seeking to recruit a full-time Financial Controller to join our growing team at Education Group OLYMPION.

Job Requirements
- Overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the Accounts department, ensuring all daily financial transactions and activities are carried out accurately and in a timely manner
- Developing and managing the organisation’s financial plans, including annual budgets, strategic business plans, and cash flow forecasts, to support decision-making and financial stability
- Ensuring all financial records are recorded systematically and accurately in accordance with legal, regulatory and organisational standards
- Monitoring existing accounting processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvements
- Overseeing debtor collections and purchasing processes, including the reconciliation of accounts, to ensure timely payments and accurate records
- Preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and performance analyses, to keep stakeholders informed about financial status and progress
- Acting as the primary contact for external auditors, coordinating the annual audit process and ensuring the provision of required documentation and information
- Handling the preparation and submission of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and managing the timely payment of all taxes
- Preparing and executing the monthly payroll process, ensuring timely submissions
- Providing guidance and support to the team members, ensuing that high standards of accuracy and compliance are maintained
- Demonstrating the ability to prioritize task and multitask, as well as to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines
- Performing additional tasks and responsibilities related to the role that may arise as required by the Top Management Team of the organisation
Qualifications and Skills
- Holder of ACA, ACCA, CPA or similar qualification
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Economics and Finance or in any other relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a related role
- Knowledge of financial regulations, VAT and tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly excel and data analysis
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
