Reporting to the Country General Manager and the Chief Education Officer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Educational Leadership
Ensure the school’s future success by…
a) upholding the school and group’s mission and principles.

3. Ensure the academic, personal, social, emotional, and physical welfare of all students.

6. Ensure that all members of the school community are treated respectfully by everyone, demonstrating an appreciation and integration of different nationalities and cultures.

1. Ensure that the curriculum offered appropriate, learning-focused, well-articulated and explicit to students, parents and teachers, focusing appropriately on academic, personal, social, emotional, physical and international learning.
2. Ensure that the school has clear evidence that effective learning is taking place every day.
3. Ensure that the school collects data about both entry level and current learning performance and uses this to track students’ progress to ensure they are working to their potential.
4. Ensure that assessment processes are used and data is analysed.
5. Ensure that all members of the teaching staff regularly discuss evidences of learning.
Management of Systems and Processes
Ensure the school’s future success through effective management by running the school in an organised and efficient way.
1. Ensure that structures and systems put in place are optimal, effective (teaching, learning, HR, admin, new admissions, marketing, finance, maintenance, and services) and are effective and as straightforward as they can be.
2. Ensure that all staff members understand the organisational structure to ensure the school runs efficiently and effectively.
3. Manage the school’s budget prudently to meet all financial targets, controlling the P&L and ensuring continuity in the school’s strategic direction, reporting to the country CEO.
4. Devise and implement a short, medium and long term strategic development plan in conjunction with the Globeducate Executive Team.
5. Devise and implement a clear and effective performance management strategy which all staff members understand.
6. Ensure that all colleagues have the opportunity to learn and improve through a continuous professional development process and feedback.
Communication with Students, Parents & the Wider Community
Ensure that we involve our students, parents and the wider community in our education and the breadth of educational initiatives we offer.
1. Ensure that we celebrate our excellence in learning from across the full range of student abilities.
2. Ensure that we provide effective parent education and networking opportunities.
3. Ensure effective communication and relationship building with students through school assemblies, individual meetings, tutorials, newsletters, digital platforms and with alumni through appropriate channels, events and activities.
4. Ensure effective communication and relationship building with parents, families and members of the wider community through parents meetings, evenings, seminars and workshops, school performances and social events.
5. Ensure that effective use is made of different media (including social media and other communication tools).
7. Ensure that the school’s initiatives are marketed and communicated effectively .
8. Ensure the processes for the admissions of new students are well-organised, including the new Early Years cohorts.
10. Ensure that staff understand they play a key role in marketing the school’s reputation, including the potential enrolment of new students.
11. Ensure that prospective parents and students are shown excellent care, have their specific concerns addressed and feel valued when they leave whether having enrolled or not.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
• A recognised teaching qualification for the school that applies
• A proven track record in senior educational leadership and strategic planning
• Awareness of educational developments and what constitutes world-class learning
• Native/Proficient level of English and local language (desirable)
