The main objective of the IB MYP Mathematics teacher 's role is to provide students with stimulating learning experiences inside and outside the classroom, and to offer them the encouragement they need to thrive at ISN.
The teacher meets the academic needs of the MYP and IB programs, as well as the social and emotional needs of the students, supporting School’s goals and values.
Qualifications:
• Baccalaureate or equivalent
• PGCE Diploma
• Teaching experience with the International Baccalaureate program.
• At least three years’ experience in a comparable international school.
• At least two years’ experience teaching MYP and IB. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the IB professional development training in Mathematics.
Responsibilities :
• An understanding of IB and MYP teaching approaches Research skills that include meaningful feedback and student reflection.
• Teaching students of different ages and levels, in both the MYP and the lB Diploma Program
• Identify and adopt the most effective active and creative pedagogical approaches all students in line with current best practice and our school ethos.
• Plan, develop and implement high-quality IB and MYP curriculum lessons in Mathematics
• Create a stimulating learning , notably by exhibiting students' work.
• Work closely with the Department Head and IB Coordinator to co-plan, update and align units and linear plans across the lB Mathematics curriculum.
• Contribute to all requirements of the lB core curriculum, supporting the IB personal project, the IB extended dissertation and the IB CAS project.
• Respect school-wide deadlines for student grading and parent/staff relations.
• Demonstrate and keep abreast of IB and MYP professional development opportunities in order to implement course changes when necessary.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Solid experience of IB and MYP programs and international schools
• Ensure students meet IB program requirements
• Liaise with all IB teachers.
• Demonstrate a collaborative approach planning and leading initiatives
• International experience in a multicultural environment
• A record of student success in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
