Agora Andorra International School is a private school located in the heart of the Pyrenees. Our principal objective is to educate our students to be multilingual, responsible, ethical and capable young people, with the motivation to succeed in all areas of their lives. Our school offers full linguistic immersion and excellent educational standards, and we are authorised to teach the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) at Post 16 level. Moreover, we have excellent boarding facilities for international students.

We are currently looking to appoint a new Educational Psychologist / Learning Support Specialist (Psicopedagogo/a) to join our Infant and Primary School team.

**The ideal candidate will have:

  • A university degree in Educational Psychology / Psychopedagogy (or legally recognised equivalent).
  • Experience working with learning difficulties and diverse learning needs.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and the wider educational community.
  • Previous experience in educational settings will be highly valued.

**Main Responsibilities:

  • Student Support and Assessment:
  • Identify, assess, and monitor students with learning difficulties, developmental needs, or socio-emotional challenges.
  • Design, implement, and follow up on personalised learning plans (PLPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide individual or small‑group support to students who require targeted assistance.
  • Collaborate with teachers to adapt materials, methodologies, and assessment tools to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaboration with Teaching Staff:
  • Offer guidance on pedagogical strategies that promote inclusion, differentiation, and personalised learning.
  • Support classroom teachers in identifying early signs of learning, behavioural, or emotional difficulties.
  • Participate in regular coordination meetings to ensure coherent and effective support across the stage.
  • Family Support and Communication:
  • Maintain open and constructive communication with families regarding student development, progress, and difficulties.
  • Provide guidance to parents on supporting learning and well‑being at home.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and information sessions when required.
  • Coordination and Documentation:
  • Ensure accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, progress reports, and follow‑up plans.
  • Liaise with external specialists or services when necessary.
  • Contribute to the school’s inclusive education policies and safeguarding procedures.
