The successful candidate will create a stimulating, caring and engaging learning environment in English, supporting students' academic, social and emotional development while working closely with families and the wider educational team. - Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in an English-speaking classroom environment.
- Create a positive, stimulating and nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe, valued and motivated to learn.
- Foster students' communication skills, creativity, independence, curiosity and love of learning.
- Use a variety of child-centred, active and experiential learning strategies.
- Adapt teaching approaches and learning activities to respond to different abilities, learning styles and individual needs.
- Monitor, assess and document students' progress and development, adapting learning experiences accordingly.
- Encourage students to develop confidence, autonomy, collaboration and positive learning habits.
- Integrate digital resources and educational technology appropriately into classroom practice.
- Contribute to the planning and development of the school's educational programme and projects.
- Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal development while providing appropriate support for each student.
🤝 Student Wellbeing & Family Partnership:
- Provide a warm, caring and secure environment that supports students' emotional and social wellbeing.
- Build strong, respectful and trusting relationships with students and their families.
- Maintain regular and professional communication with families regarding students' progress, development and wellbeing.
- Participate in parent meetings, school events and activities that strengthen the partnership between school and families.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, coordinators and the wider educational team to ensure a consistent approach to students' learning and wellbeing.
- Contribute actively to the school's safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion practices.
- Identify and communicate any relevant academic, social or emotional concerns regarding students and work collaboratively to address them.

✅ Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, Education or a related field.
- Qualified teacher status and the appropriate teaching credentials for the position.
- Previous teaching experience in Primary Education and/or Early Years, ideally within an international or bilingual school environment.
- Native or near-native level of English. Native English speakers will be highly valued.
- Spanish and/or Catalan will be considered an advantage.
- Experience working with young learners will be highly valued.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogical approaches.
- Experience planning and delivering engaging, student-centred learning experiences.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, coordinators and families.
- Proactive, creative, flexible and solution-oriented mindset.
- Confidence working in a multilingual, multicultural and international environment.
- Strong commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding and holistic development.
- Genuine passion for education and for supporting young learners throughout their educational journey.
- Previous experience in an international school and/or knowledge of international curricula will be highly valued.
