We are currently looking to appoint an English Secondary Teacher (MYP) starting September 2026, to support teaching hours while colleagues take on MYP coordination responsibilities.
✅ The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in English Philology, Translation & Interpreting, or related field
- A teaching qualification for secondary education (Master’s in Secondary Education, PGCE or equivalent)
- Native or near-native level of English (C2/bilingual)
- High level of Spanish (C2/bilingual).
- Experience teaching in secondary education, ideally within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)
- Ability to teach English Language Acquisition, and ideally an additional subject such as History or Sciences
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A valid work permit for Andorra/European Union
📌 Main responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in English Language Acquisition within the MYP framework
- Teach additional subjects (History and/or Sciences) depending on profile and timetable
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with IB philosophy and school standards
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
- Support students’ academic progress, critical thinking, and language development
- Monitor and report on student performance, providing feedback to students and families
- Collaborate with the MYP team to ensure consistency and quality across the programme
- Contribute to departmental planning and school life
