We are currently seeking to appoint a Technology, Design & Computer Teacher for the Secondary stages starting September 2026.
✅ The ideal candidate will have:
- Degree in Technology, Engineering, Design, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master’s Degree in Secondary Teacher Training (Máster en Formación del Profesorado), PGCE, or equivalent.
- Advanced level of English (C2/native/bilingual).
- Spanish is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching History and/or English at secondary level (preferably in international contexts).
- Experience with IB MYP is highly desirable.
- Valid work permit to work in Andorra/European Union.
- Availability to start with us in September 2026.
📌 Main responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high‑quality Technology, Design & Computer lessons aligned with IB MYP framework.
- Guide students through the inquiry cycle, design processes, prototyping, and project‑based learning.
- Teach digital literacy, responsible technology use, computational thinking, and basic programming concepts.
- Support students in developing problem‑solving, creativity, and innovation skills using digital tools, software, and hands‑on materials.
- Integrate technology in a safe, ethical, and effective way aligned with IB values.
- Assess student progress following MYP criteria and school assessment policies.
- Maintain a dynamic, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment.
- Collaborate with the Design & Technology department in curriculum development and alignment.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and learning.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
